As a technician at NC Retina Associates, your main duty is to assist in the care of patients during their visit by preparing them to see the physician. You must be able to independently seek out resources and work collaboratively with others. You must have an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate clearly with patients, families, visitors, physicians, administrators, leadership and coworkers.
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a technician in an Ophthalmology office.
- Ability to aid in daily tasks of running a medical clinic.
- OCT/Fundus/FA experience.
- Scribe experience, familiarity with MDI Intellechart preferred, but not required.
- Ability to assist in coordinating surgery schedules and reviewing and editing medical charts/referrals.
